Müze Binası; Japon Hükümeti'nin karşılıksız kültürel hibe programı ile inşa edilmiş, T.C. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı tarafından teşhir tanzim ve çevre düzenlemesi yaptırılmıştır. Projelerin hazırlanmasından, inşaatın tamamlanması ve müzenin ziyaretçilere açılmasına kadar olan sürecin her aşamasında Türk ve Japon uzmanlar işbirliği içerisinde çalışmışlardır. Müze, Türk ve Japon dostluk ve işbirliğinin sembolü olarak kabul edilmiştir.
Enstitü Binası; bilimsel araştırma ve arkeolojik kazılar yapmak; elde edilen bilgileri kurs, seminer, konferans ve yayın yolu ile paylaşmak üzere Japonya Ortadoğu Kültür Merkezi tarafından inşa edilmiştir. Ayrıca, Japonya dışındaki en büyük Japon bahçesi de düzenlenmiştir.
Japon Prens ve Prensesi ile birlikte T.C. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanı tarafından enstitü binaları ile birlikte Kaman Kalehöyük Arkeoloji Müzesi'nin açılışı yapılacaktır.
Cumhurbaşkanlığı Senfoni Orkestrası tarafından Ferit Tüzün'ün "Esintiler", Nevit Kodallı'nın "Telli Turna", Yoshiyuki Kozu'nun "Kaman'da Gün Batımı" adlı eserleri seslendirilecektir.
Enstitü binaları, Arkeoloji Müzesi ve Japon Bahçesi gezilebilecektir.

The Museum Building was established with the cultural grant aid program of the Japanese Government and the exposition, arrangement and landscaping was done by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. During all the stages such as project preparation, construction and opening the museum to visitors, Japanese and Turkish experts have worked in cooperation. The museum was acknowledged as the symbol of Turkish – Japanese friendship and cooperation.
The Institute Building was constructed by the Middle East Culture Center in Japan in order to conduct scientific researches and archeological excavations and to share the gained information through lectures, seminars, conferences and journals. Its garden is the biggest Japanese Garden abroad.
The inauguration of the institute buildings and Kaman Kalehoyuk Archeological Museum will be done by the Japanese Prince and Princess and the Culture and Tourism Minister of the Republic of Turkey.
There will also be a concert, where "Esintiler" by Ferit Tüzün, "Telli Turna" by Nevit Kodallı and "Kaman'da Gün Batımı" by Yoshiyuki Kozu will be performed by the
Presidential Symphony Orchestra.
The institute buildings, the Archeology Museum and the Japanese Garden can be toured.
